Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate is this revenue calculator?
This calculator provides estimates based on industry-standard conversion rates and real platform fee structures. Your actual results will vary based on factors like your marketing strategy, audience engagement, and course quality. Use these projections as a starting point for planning, not a guarantee of income.
What conversion rate should I use?
For beginners with a small email list, start with 1-2%. Established creators with an engaged audience typically see 2-5%. Top performers with strong personal brands can achieve 5-10% or higher. The calculator includes industry benchmarks to help you choose a realistic rate.
How do platform fees differ between providers?
Platform fees vary significantly. Teachable charges 7.5% transaction fees on their Starter plan ($39/mo) plus payment processing. Thinkific and Kajabi have higher monthly costs and charge a percentage if you keep your own Stripe rather than their built-in processor — Thinkific 5% on Basic, 2% on Start, 1% on Grow; Kajabi 0.5-2%. Ruzuku offers simple, transparent pricing with no hidden transaction fees on any plan.
Can I save my calculations?
Currently, calculations are session-based. We recommend taking a screenshot of your results or noting down your inputs. In a future update, we plan to add the ability to save and share your projections.
What if I want to sell multiple courses?
This calculator focuses on single-course projections. For multiple courses, run the calculator separately for each and sum the results. Keep in mind that your audience may overlap, so total conversions might be lower than individual calculations suggest.
