None of the three can run a live class
Systeme.io says so itself — its webinars are for pre-recorded content and Zoom is still the better tool for live. ClickFunnels hands you off to a paid Zoom plan. Kartra's webinars are broadcast-style.
Ruzuku has browser-based video meetings built in, so your students don't need a Zoom account, plus a Zoom integration when you want breakout rooms or a bigger room.
Assessment shouldn't depend on your plan
ClickFunnels has no in-course quiz builder at any price. Kartra puts quizzes and surveys on its $229/month Growth tier. Ruzuku includes quizzes and assignments on every plan.
Credit where it's due: Systeme.io gives you module quizzes on its free plan, which is more than either of the other two manage at $97 a month. Across our own courses, the 5,301 using assessments reached platform-recorded completion on 59.4% of enrollments, against 43.7% across 20,679 courses without any.
A group, not a list of buyers
None of the three manages a cohort. The closest they get is releasing content to everyone on the same date, which is a schedule rather than a group.
Ruzuku schedules cohorts as cohorts — a start date, live sessions, attendance and discussion attached to the course the group is moving through. In our own catalog, scheduled courses reached platform-recorded completion on 53.9% of 334,444 enrollments against 43.9% of 208,691 on-demand ones, and courses with discussion enabled on 52.1% of 16,862 against 38.1% of 9,118 without. Both are associations across our catalog, not controlled trials.

I'll be straight about where these three land. If you're pre-recorded, self-paced and price-sensitive, Systeme.io is hard to argue with — $17/month buys quizzes, assignments, certificates, drip and native video hosting, which is more course functionality than ClickFunnels offers at $248. Kartra makes sense when its marketing automation is carrying weight for you, though quizzes sitting on the $229 tier means the sticker price isn't the price. ClickFunnels is the strongest funnel builder and the weakest of the three for teaching — no quizzes at any price, and hard course caps. Ruzuku is the better choice when teaching is the work rather than the deliverable: live sessions built in, cohorts the platform actually understands, assignments and discussion in every plan, and a support team that helps your students instead of only helping you. Where we lose: certificates and a custom domain are Pro features at $199/month, and Systeme.io hands you both on a free account.
